The Next Gen Watercooler

So I sit down to play for a few hours last night and I have one thing to say about Rockstar’s game..

Fantastic!

I feel like I’m playing a episode of the Shield/Sopranos or something.I’m playing the 360 version now and I’ll be playing the PS3 title some this week too. Only three achievements so far,but the story is very engrossing. I’m not spoiling it,but it keeps dragging me back to play it. Although,one of the characters sounds like Watto from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones..jeez

I’ll get the PSN info up today. This game is dragging me away from some of the PS3 stuff I was working on,but I’ll get back into it(blog) this weekend hopefully.

Now the step daughter(Mikayla) wants a Nintendo DS(great!!!!) and some games. Wish I had kept mine,but she wants pink one.I’m glad she likes games.

I’m going to be changing this one quite a bit this week..It’s getting Hazy..or maybe not

Well,after GTA4 then you have MGS4 and it’s not a lot after that..So let’s look forward and I’ll tell you what I’m looking forward to later this year. There is some real expectation for these games and there are some more I’m missing that I’ll probably start checking out.

So it’s time for GTA 4 and yes I’m really wanting to play this game.Never been the biggest fan of the franchise myself,but after all the hype..I must check out this game.I’ll be playing both versions in the coming weeks and I hope to put up a side by side comparison of both copies..This will really be interesting for the fans,the fanboys and the slightly interested..So stay tuned!

I would suggest a Hong Kong and UK account.I haven’t really looked at the SCEJ side,so not sure whats there.The UK side has some nice themes and some other stuff,so check them out.Just google up a address in London or either Hong Kong and setup a new email account on hotmail and your ready to go!

Just sent a message to a community manager for a company.Not gonna say which one or anything until he says yes or no,but hopefully I’ll be able to get a few questions answered about their major game release this year.They are a good bunch of folks(appreciate the games!)so if he says yes,then I’ll put it up to the readers for some questions.

Yes,it was announced today that Home will be delayed. Guess it takes a little more time
to sort it out.I’m more concerned with in game XMB and playing some decent titles
in the coming year.I really hope I can get into the closed beta.I hear they will release
some info on this.Should be interesting to see what is required.

So,this week has been a busy week on the personal front.I picked up GT5P this week,after getting rid of Burnout Paradise.I believe I made it to the A license on the game and it pretty much was the end of what I found exciting about the game.I’ve been more interested in what Sony has been releasing lately.I really do believe that this year is going to be the year of the playstation 3. I’m picking up GTA4 next week on 360,to see how it’s going to be.

I picked up the new update to Stardust HD and I have to say this is one of the best
downloadable games on either PSN or Xbox Live. I know it’s just a shmup,but it really keeps
you involved and keeps you coming back.I recommend picking it up.

Played some more COD4 on 360 and yes,it’s the best game on 360.I’m really glad that Infinity Ward made this game.It’s better than Halo 3 and is the Counter Strike on the console generation.

I might pick up the Warhawk booster packs this week,so expect a review of those.
