Well, this week is going to be a busy one.I’m trying to get all the money I can in Fable Pub games in preparation for playing the RPG pretty soon.I’ll have more on that later.

Last week I went through and beat Star Wars:The Force Unleashed and found it better than most reviews, but the game did have some flaws. It’s definitely worth a look at if you a fan of the genre.I’ll be playing Wipeout HD on the PS3 and giving Lego Batman and Brothers in Arms a quick run though on 360.

So,stay tuned towards the end of the week. Thanks

The following scores are from various media sites that have played Too Human and the total score so far for Too Human is a combined 67. I gathered these from www.metacritic.com since Microsoft routinely uses Metacritic as a qualifier for why they say their games play better on the Xbox 360.I think 1up’s score of the game is very telling.I’ll be playing it this week as I’ve said in earlier blog posts.I wasn’t at all pleased with the demo, but maybe the retail copy will be better.
Apparently,Silicon Knights are already working on the rest of the trilogy.I think I would wait to see how this one does first.
GamePro Score: 80
It’s ultimately the inspired intermingling of the disparate abilities bestowed on partnered players that makes Too Human worth playing.
IGN Score:78
The character customization options and great class and skill system are the kind of foundation games should be built on. But then it’s all made rather moot by the fact that dying doesn’t matter and all of the enemies scale to you. The sense of accomplishment just isn’t there.
Gameplayer Score: 70
If wading knee deep in the dead to get at a piece of armour that’s 5% better than what you’re currently wearing isn’t the kind of adventuring that excites you, then you’re in trouble, because Too Human is exactly this type of game. Kill, loot, compare, equip, repeat.
Game Informer :Score 68
Too Human is about players sculpting their ideal killing machines. If you enjoy leveling and looting, it’s worth a look. If you only have a moderate interest, Too Human’s aggravating gameplay and irreparable plot won’t deliver many thrills.
GameSpot : Score 55
A perfect example of awesome but unrealized potential.
1UP :Score 42
The game is simply schizophrenic; it attempts to be all things to all people and never succeeds in executing any of them well. The end result is in dire need of polish and focus, and that doesn’t solely apply to gameplay mechanics.

So I downloaded the demo from the PSN store yesterday and put about 4-5 hours off and on into it.Let me say that it’s very hard to put down. Although you can’t really die,it does have one thing most games do not have these days. It has a timer.

You can add time back to it by gathering pieces located throughout the garden. Also, the game isn’t that easy and does require some good platforming skills. It’s a genre that doesn’t really exist much anymore and I’m glad that Q-games shows us that we still need it in this age of FPS and RPG’s.The art style gives off a nice vibe and the music is just relaxing. So,just grab a drink and sit and chill with Eden.

The final retail copy will have youtube uploading, trophies and remote play enabled. But,the demo which seems to be a nice slice of the actual game is very enjoyable.Anything that can take me away from my constant Battlefield:Bad Company matches has got to be interesting right? The actual game goes on sale July 31st for $9.99 and I will be purchasing it as soon as possible.
