When I first heard that Trophies weren’t going to be retro,my first reaction was to think that playing Burnout Paradise again wouldn’t be any fun.I was very wrong in that regard.I downloaded the patch and basically 3 hours later had a third of the trophies. All the while,I was enjoying playing the game again.
In the grand scheme of things, you can’t really be irritated with Criterion for not making trophies retroactive. They have continued to release free content and patches for months and basically taken a stab at retailers too,by making the full game available on the PSN. They have taken a game and given it new life again.Over 960k people were playing it the other day according to the Newsfeed in the game. If every company followed this mindset, gamers would be in a world of bliss.
One has to wonder what Criterion has been planning. Is it a way to develop a loyal fanbase that will follow to the next game? Perhaps, but whatever the reason,Criterion has made another fan in myself.Well done!

Funny what a difference in game music and trophies make,eh? I just downloaded the 1.5 update for Warhawk and almost every friend on my psn list was playing the game.Maybe a few companies could see a larger sales push on older titles for just spending a little time working on putting trophies back in the game.
I’ve managed to unlock about 8% of the trophies in about a hour and I’m a terrible Warhawk player. If you want to add me,my psn id is enewtabie.

Having problems with getting a few trophies.Well, dying and replaying a certain section in the game can help you unlock the following if you are willing to be patient.
The following can be done in the Chapter 4 section where you walk into the woods with a large section of tree traps. You’ll have to make sure to not kill everyone of the enemies or you’ll not restart the level.

Check out the great guide for a idea of the section.I achieved the following trophies in that one section.
Brutal Slugger-charge the pirates and go hand to hand, just don’t kill them all.
Steel Fist-same as above, but use your pistol to soften them up before punching them!
100 headshots-Use the pistol.Take well placed shots, but leave one alive to kill you
Dyno Might-See below
Expert Dyno Might-Climb to top of the stone structure and throw a grenade into the middle of the tree traps as the pirates come down the hill.Be patient and leave one alive to kill you
Run and Gunner-Doesn’t matter what weapon, but charge the pirates! Leave one alive and die!
Grenade Hangman-Hang on the back side of the small stone structure and lob grenades over the side.Easy!
50 Kills:Moss-12-Just keeping using it on the pirates, but die so you can restart!
30 Kills:M79 – Climb to the top of the small structure and pick it up,blow up the charging pirates, but leave at least one alive to kill you.
Just remember, this is probably one of the best sections in the game to get these trophies due to large amount of pirates that show up.Just make sure to die so you can restart!

The trophy patch 1.01 for Uncharted Drakes Fortune is available for the folks in the PAL region. The trophies correspond to the medals already in the game. You must get all the trophies to unlock the Platinum trophy(the first game to have one).Hopefully, the US won’t be too far behind.Nice to see the Europeans getting something early for a change.
Bionic Commando Rearmed getting retroactive trophies? July 25, 2008

Looks like it! Ben Judd the producer of the game says they are working on a way to implement them, but the medal system in the game is tagged to save your game.Basically,if you buy the game at launch, the game will unlock anything you have accomplished once a patch is released. No playing it again from the start.

Looks like Bioshock is going to have some Home support and a bunch of trophies according to the links above.I hope we can hear something about this at E3 next week. I beat Bioshock on 360,but I think I’m going to play through this again.

I’ve only been able to spend a little time with the new firmware update for the PS3,but I’m finding it usual.I really love the trophies and it makes you really want to play the game more.I’ve only unlocked one trophy so far due to a local storm so I hope I can work on it some more later.I’ve owned SSHD since March and I like the game, but the new trophy update really gives a game a new set of legs.
I just wish I had a few more titles to try out that were patched for trophies. How about that Sony?
